Hello there, ghouls and boys! Halloween is just around the corner, and it's time to start planning your spooktacular party. Whether you're throwing a monster mash or a witch's brew bonanza, you'll want to make sure your guests are treated to some wickedly delicious snacks.  Sometimes, we get sugar overload and want some savory snacks to break up the sweetness. That's why we've conjured up a list of spooky treats that will leave your party guests howling for more! Without further ado, let's get started with these recipes that are so good, they're almost scary.

Mummy Dogs

These little creatures are wrapped up in savory, flaky dough to resemble mummies. Just wrap some crescent roll dough around your favorite hot dogs and add two little mustard eyes to create the perfect mummy look. Why not try this entertaining set for help with prep and serving drinks?

Ingredients:

1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough

8 hot dogs

Mustard (for the mummy's eyes)

Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.

Wrap each hot dog with one of the triangles of dough, leaving a small gap near one end to create the mummy's "head."

Place the wrapped hot dogs on the prepared baking sheet.

Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the crescent roll dough is golden brown.

Allow the mummy dogs to cool slightly, then use mustard to add two small dots for eyes on the exposed part of the hot dog.

Serve and enjoy your spooky mummy dogs!

Spiderweb Pizza

Give your pizza a creepy makeover with some gooey cheese and a drizzle of black olive spiderwebs. Your guests won't know whether to be terrified or tantalized! Try slicing it on this cutting board.

Ingredients:

1 pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)

1/2 cup pizza sauce

1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

1/4 cup sliced black olives

1/2 cup sliced green bell pepper

1/4 cup sliced red onion

Instructions:

Preheat your oven according to the pizza dough package instructions (usually around 425°F or 220°C).

Roll out the pizza dough into your desired shape on a pizza stone or baking sheet.

Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the dough.

Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese on top of the sauce.

To create the spiderweb design, place the black olive slices in a circular pattern on the pizza.

Use the green bell pepper and red onion slices to form the "spider's legs" radiating out from the center of the web.

Bake the pizza in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes or until the crust is golden and the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Remove from the oven, slice, and serve your spooky spiderweb pizza!

Eyeball Deviled Eggs

Deviled eggs get a spooky twist when you place an olive slice in the center of each one to make them look like eerie eyeballs. It's a stare-down you won't want to lose! We recommend a personalized bottle opener to crack open some cold ones to enjoy with your eggs.

Ingredients:

6 hard-boiled eggs

2 tablespoons mayonnaise

1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

Salt and pepper to taste

6 pitted black olives

Ketchup or red food coloring (optional)

Instructions:

Cut the hard-boiled eggs in half lengthwise. Remove the yolks and place them in a bowl.

Mash the yolks and mix in the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper until the mixture is smooth.

Fill each egg white half with the yolk mixture, smoothing the top.

Slice the pitted black olives in half to create "eyeballs."

Place one olive half in the center of each deviled egg.

If desired, use ketchup or red food coloring to add red veins to the white part of the eye.

Serve your creepy eyeball deviled eggs and watch your guests do a double-take!
